This is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract position.

Join our client’s Communications team as a Graphic Designer and be at the forefront of our exciting in-house design expansion! This 12-month fixed-term role offers a chance to showcase your skills, with the potential to make a lasting impact.

What you’ll be doing

  • Create top-notch graphic design content aligned with their brand.
  • Collaborate with the Communications team to produce engaging content across various mediums.
  • Navigate the creative process from concept to production, ensuring seamless execution.
  • Develop publicity materials spanning posters, social media assets, brochures, and more.
  • Drive accessibility in communications through animations and video content.
  • Safeguard and promote their brand integrity across all channels.
  • Optimise cost efficiency by liaising with printers and suppliers for top-quality production.

What they’re looking for

  • Graphic Design qualification OR proven experience.
  • Proven track record in high-quality, engaging content across multiple mediums.
  • End-to-end experience handling design briefs.
  • Proficiency in motion graphics design.
  • Advanced Adobe Creative Suite skills (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Animate).
  • High IT literacy, especially with MS Office 365; project management understanding for efficiency.

These will make your application stand out, but they’re not essential

  • Experience of working in a customer-focussed organisation
  • Experience of working in a communications environment
  • Understanding and experience of digital and social media
  • Understanding of housing associations
  • Ability to understand the current issues facing our client
  • Understanding of email marketing software – such as Mailchimp
