Full Stack Software Engineer – Java, Spring. OAuth, Swagger, Postman

Contract: Until 31 December 2022

Rate: £550 per Day – Inside IR35

Location: Remote and East London Offices – Hybrid Working

One of the world s best known engineering and manufacturing companies and a household name is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer, Software Developer to work within its connected customer experience area covering both Retail and Commercial Customers.

The aim of the team is to enhance the customer experience, drive loyalty, maximise product Uptime and monetize the connected eco-system. The team within this department are looking for Software Engineers, Software Developers with Full-Stack development backgrounds to forge the future customer offerings in the areas of camera control, access / start inhibition and geofencing among the other industry-leading features in the security arena. The successful candidates are expected to embrace Lean/Agile and Extreme Programming practices across the full stack of technologies, they will collaborate directly and continuously with product managers, product designers, full stack developers and business partners to release early and often whilst building enterprise-scale, customer focussed software products.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities and Essential Skills Required

Full Stack Software Engineer, Developer

> Jira, GitHub, Java/Kotlin, Spring, Spring Boot, OAuth, Swagger, Postman

> Minimum 5 years Java/Kotlin development experience building micro service and cloud based solutions using Spring, Spring Boot, OAuth, Swagger and Postman.

> Experience with cloud environments (Azure, GCP, Pivotal Cloud Foundry or similar).

> Web service delivery experience (using REST) for backend services.

> Experience with TDD and Agile Methodologies.

> Experience with software development tools (backlog management, source code management, automated and unit test management, CI/CD, etc.).

> Proven ability to work both individually and collaboratively.

> History of developing self and others, particularly with respect to software engineering skills.

> Strong all-round communication skills (written / presentation, one-to-one / group) and a customer-focused approach to delivery.

Desirable (not essential) Skills and experience

Full Stack Software Engineer, Developer

# Front end user experience in JavaScript plus either Vue or React.

# Experience in pair programming.
