Full-stack Web Developer

A growing insurtech are currently seeking a talented and detail-oriented Web Developer to join their dynamic Web Development team who can play a pivotal role in executing an ambitious digital roadmap. As a member of our client’s Web Development team, you’ll be immersed in a stimulating environment, engaging with diverse web technologies across the entire stack. Our client base is in expansion mode, driving the need to elevate their web-focused product offerings.

While prior experience in the field is valued, the Web Developers don’t necessarily require industry-specific exposure. However, a demonstrable track record of web coding prowess in comparable organizational settings is essential. The ideal candidates boast a minimum of five years of practical experience. Proficiency in troubleshooting and optimizing applications linked to web development, testing, and deployment is key. Successful candidates should possess robust familiarity and hands-on experience with diverse programming tools, notably C#, Core, Javascript, HTML, CSS, MVC, and JSON.

Role Overview:

• Proficiently build websites from the ground up using C#, MVC, Asp.net, and Asp.net core.
• Exhibit mastery in C#, HTML, CSS, Javascript, JSON, and Bootstrap.
• Familiarity with UI binding frameworks like Vue.js, AngularJS, React, or Knockout is advantageous.
• Comfortable utilization of IIS.
• Strong grasp of the MVC pattern, REST APIs, and asp.net controllers.
• Ensure code addresses security vulnerabilities, in alignment with OWASP guidelines.

Requirements:

• Craft efficient code following software development best practices.
• Develop websites using languages such as HTML and CSS.
• Collaborate with Programmers and Web Designers for visual design alignment.
• Communicate effectively with business peers to gather and refine requirements.
• Explore various software programs as needed.
• Stronger focus on the Front end around UI and MVC is desirable

This role offers a hybrid work arrangement (required in office Monday & Wednesday in the central London office) with a salary range of £70,000 – £95,000 depending on experience. The comprehensive package includes a bonus structure, pension plan, and other competitive wider benefits.
