Content Manager (Transition)

Job Type: Fixed Term Contract for 23 months

Locations: Durham, Lytham St Anne’s, Glasgow, City of Westminster, London

Salary: c£46,500 (London), c£43,000 (Durham, Lytham, Glasgow)

Our client, a leading UK savings organisation with over 25 million customers and £202 billion invested, is seeking a skilled Content Transition Manager to join their dynamic Design and Validation team.

The Role

As a Content Transition Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in steering the transition from legacy systems to a cutting-edge digital platform. This platform is set to revolutionise web and mobile experiences, and you’ll be at the forefront of managing the migration of existing content. Your responsibilities will extend to designing and implementing new content management processes and workflows that support seamless multi-channel publishing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a migration plan in collaboration with Product Owners, Customer Communications, Content team, Transition team, and external suppliers.
  • Lead the migration of content, roles, and responsibilities, identifying areas for improvement to enhance the customer experience.
  • Work closely with Content colleagues and external designers/developers to design agile processes for content design, publishing, and approvals within the new platform.

Essential Experience, knowledge and skills

  • Proven experience in service design or designing processes and workflows.
  • Demonstrated expertise in content migration within the context of broader digital transformation.
  • Confidence in working with Content Management Systems.
  • Track record of collaboration with technical and design partners.
  • Project delivery experience, particularly in transformation programmes.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.


  • Competitive Salary: c£46,500 (London), c£43,000 (Durham, Lytham, Glasgow).
