We are now looking for a AR/VR Content Designer to join our Swansea campus on a full time 12 months fixed term basis working 37 hours per week.
– THE ROLE –
You will support the Digital Learning & Creativity team by building and developing immersive experiences linked to marketing and learning and teaching.
You will focus on building and deploying high-quality VR/AR experiences and ensuring applications run smoothly.
You should have a positive, proactive and flexible approach to your work. You should be highly motivated, and able to work autonomously and cooperatively with others.

– ABOUT YOU –
To be considered as a AR/VR Content Designer, you will need:
– Good general level of education
– Experience of AR/VR applications such as Unity or Unreal.
– Experience of building AR/VR experiences for training, gaming or marketing.
– Ability to systematically create, review and test immersive experiences, applying an eye for detail.
– Knowledge of 3D engines.
– Knowledge of software development cycle.
– Ability to work effectively as an individual, as part of a team and in partnership.
– Ability to demonstrate effective organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines.
– Ability to maintain up-to-date knowledge of new developments in web related technologies and processes.
It would also be beneficial if you had:
– Experience of UX design.
– Understanding of human-computer interaction.
– Ability to communicate through the medium of Welsh – oral and written.
